Secondary School

Ocean Forest College offers a comprehensive approach to education that recognises the uniqueness of the adolescent years, while simultaneously providing the benefits of continuity across our entire K-10 campus.

In partnership with families, the Secondary Years Program aims to assist young adolescents to develop the values, principles and self-understanding with which they may build community-oriented and meaningful lives.

We focus on a responsible and smooth transitional program from the primary years that is highly responsive to the special attention warranted by young adolescents.

Our Secondary School has a clearly defined curriculum which is aligned to the content and teaching methodologies of the Australian Curriculum across all Key Learning Areas. Through our approach to learning we aim to promote critical thinking skills and prepare students for multiple pathways in Years 11 and 12 and a range of post-school destinations.

Whatever their pathway, Ocean Forest students graduate with the confidence to embrace life and the commitment to further learning.

Complementing our core curriculum, students are offered extra opportunities to experience new places, cultures, events and personal growth. Click on the Opportunities tab on the menu for further details.

Our Secondary School teachers are highly respected professionals, in their chosen fields, and also as general educators. All teachers contribute to the strong pastoral care program at Ocean Forest to foster the development of strong, positive relationships between class teachers and their students and across the various peer groups.

We welcome you to pay a visit at any time to see why we are so proud of our school.
